Yesterday, yet another computer graphics expo took place, organised by the Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality Lab and the University of Tartu’s Institute of Computer Science. This was our fourth time taking part in the event.

We must say, in our subjective opinion, that this year’s fair was the busiest and most welcoming one yet. It was wonderful to see how proudly the students presented their projects and how their supervisors stood beside them with evident satisfaction. So many ideas worth realising were circulating and being shared. Fantastic!

We gained a real energy boost for the weekend. Thank you to the organisers, and see you next year!

Winter Adventure “Taste of Time”

Bring family and friends to Toila and get your mind ready, as the winter adventure, where you can taste time, begins. It is the month of independence and it is the right time to take a walk with Konstantin Päts, the owner of the palace in Oru Park, to sip a cup of coffee steaming in virtual reality and to enjoy a sweet surprise of President Päts.

Does history have colors? Is history spatial? Can you be present in history? Check it out at our special program “VR Toila 1938” in cooperation with Toila SPA Hotel restaurant Mio Mare.

sTARTUp Day 2020

In the last days of January, we were out for the first time in the demo area of the largest business festival in the Baltics, sTARTUp Day 2020. The opportunity opened up for us in cooperation with the University of Tartu. This year, sTARTUp Day was attended by 4,400 visitors, 350 start-ups and 85 companies in the demo field, among which six spin-offs of the University of Tartu were also present under the label “science to business”. The days were busy and we are glad that a lot of new contacts were gathered. Many thanks to everyone for exciting and meaningful meetings!
